My Philosophy

Through my own personal health journey, I have discovered a few tips that have made living healthy possible:

1)Start where you are and use the resources that you have available. This doesn’t mean you need to stop everything you are doing cold turkey, clean out your pantry, and try to run 3 miles every single day. This is all about balance. Focus on small, incremental steps that will progress to the larger end goal.

2)Crowd out, not cut out. When we focus on dieting, it often correlates to feeling deprived. With this program, you will gain the knowledge and tools to implement healthy swaps and prepare simple, nourishing foods you and your hormones will love, so that it is easier to curb cravings and minimize feelings of deprivation.

3)Lastly, no judgment or self-shaming! Rebel Women Wellness is all about creating a safe, non-judgmental space to provide support. There should be no shame for bad eating choices or occasionally missing the mark. We are all in this together!

My Mottos to Live By

Progress Not Perfection

None of us are perfect and if we have a piece of cake or skip a workout, don’t fret! We all do this and besides, we should be able to enjoy a piece of cake every once in awhile. Instead of creating pressure and frustration by trying to do it all, focus on starting with small, consistent daily habits. This will lead to increased confidence and a successful, healthy outcome.

Be Gracious with Yourself

For us women, we have a lot on our plates. It may be overwhelming at times to try to juggle our day to day responsibilities in addition to managing a healthy lifestyle and all that it entails. When we miss the mark, we can be our own biggest critics at times, but the best thing we can do is have patience, love ourselves, and move forward.

Live the Anti-Diet Way of Life

In our society, there tends to be a misconception that eating healthy means “dieting” and cutting out our favorite foods while unhappily eating a spinach salad everyday. My philosophy is all about learning quick and simple ways of making healthy foods delicious so you end up crowding out the bad stuff without even realizing it.

FAQ

What is nutritional therapy?

Nutritional therapy is a way to regain our health by utilizing personalized dietary and lifestyle protocols to get to the root causes of our symptoms. Personalized programs are developed based upon a comprehensive evaluation. As Nutritional Therapy Practitioners, we do not diagnose and claim to cure conditions, but rather serve as educators to navigate through health challenges to promote confidence, self-awareness, and quality of life.

How is it different?

With nutritional therapy, we take a closer look at your current health status, medical history, intake forms, and food and mood journal to discern what imbalances are connected to the symptoms you are experiencing. From there, we determine a nutrition and lifestyle protocol based upon our findings to support the body and help you to feel and look your best.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required depends on your own unique needs and health goals. The number of sessions recommended will be discussed during your initial, comprehensive nutrition consultation.
